COMMUNITY INTEGRATED EDUCATION

We are a mommy-ran, neighborhood based, out-of-school time learning program. We are committed to creating spaces for families to have access to programming and events in their neighborhoods that are fully accessible to them and are equipped with the tools that are needed to support their children's academic achievement.

We would like to partner with other youth and family serving organizations to deliver fun filled programming and events that spark innovation, critical thinking and social responsibility. 

Tegan's Hopeful Storybook Garden is a place-making initiative with the goal of creating cool spaces in neighborhoods. We've turned a vacant lot into an interactive storybook garden with fun filled activities that align with our district's grade level content expectations. We are an extension of the classroom and provide opportunities to apply theory in a community based settings.
